Canada has more lake area than any other country in the world. In fact, it has 563 lakes that are larger than 100 square kilometers!

Dow’s lake also has a marina where visitors can canoe, kayak and paddleboat in the summer months.

2. The longest coastline

4. The world’s safest highways for animals

In 2014, there were 38 wildlife underpasses and six overpasses from Banff National Park, Alberta to the border of Yoho National Park, British Columbia.
